Paul Schaffer and the band played Hanky Panky tonight when Tom Hanks was introduced to the show!!! Hanks is hosting some event for the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame next month. Check it out by watching D. L. online. It sounded pretty cool~with lots of horns in the mix!!! Just thought it was cool that
TJ and RRHOF were heard in the segment tonight!!!
There's hope yet!!!

Paul & the band played Hanky Panky in tribute to Ellie Greenwhich after her death recently. Will Lee the tall blonde guitar player with glasses on
Letterman has played in concert with Tommy as a Shondell. Lee is a great musician. I always hoped that Lee's connection with Tommy might land Tommy a spot
on the show playing as the band's special guest. Paul has spoken highly of Tommy a couple of times too when referencing his music.

That is cool to know Gary, regarding Ellie. I would have guessed maybe it was the band playing a joke on Letterman and his affair. ok that was bad, but I like

That was a really cute idea~but I think it was because of Tom's last name; "Hanks" Hanky Panky~make sense? Are you going to meet us next Sat. in St Paul for the Trashmen? I hope you do! I wish I would have known this last night! I watched parts of the beginning, but I didn't hear who was going to be on. I was so tired that I just went to bed so I missed it. Maybe I can watch it online this weekend. I think the show may be available but I haven't checked. Anyone know? Lori |

I need to find out myself cuz I missed it too. Thurs I kept thinking all day it was Wed & that's why I missed it. I thought it was Wed. Been doing that
